Our Missions

We are committed to prayer and financial support to missionaries who are part of our fellowship. We strive to give regular reports to our congregation to keep them informed of progress on the field and of needs our missionaries have. We meet monthly to review all correspondence received and to make decisions on financial assistance. As a committee we strive to present missionaries to our congregation who meet our standard of service so that our church can be active in furthering the gospel around the world.
We are commanded in Matthew 28:18-20 to go into all the world, make disciples, baptize, and teach. Our missions program should reflect obedience to this command by promoting systematic program for the establishment of growing, discipling, and reproducing Baptist churches which can evangelize the lost, edify believers, and establish other local churches.
It should be our goal to look outside the walls of our own church and actively work to meet the spiritual needs of those without Christ in all nations. The newly formed church at Antioc wasted no time obeying Jesus’ command in Matthew 28: 18-20 by sending Paul and Barnabus out to evangelize their “uttermost part of the world” God’s desire is to “call out a people for Himself” (Acts 15:14). His church should be the instrument through which He works His purpose.
